When you are ready for your test I’ll advise you to book it, however, before that I will want you to have completed and passed a mock driving test. For most pupils this will be the first time that they have driven without any instructions other that what directions to follow, and can be a fairly nerve racking experience, but it is a good indication of what standard you have reached and gives you an idea of what to expect on the day of your test. You need to be honest with yourself. If you still have to ask me how to deal with a situation then you are probably not ready for the test. The roads are getting ever busier and although it is impossible to recreate every situation that you are likely to encounter, you should be able to deal confidently and safely with whatever comes your way.
